Our story began in 1916, when Scott and Rio Vande Vegte’s ancestor, James Duven, founded Duven Music and Electric in Orange City, Iowa. From that foundation, every generation since has worked in some form of electrical, construction, or home systems trade: from master electricians, to craftsmen, to aerospace engineer, to modern integration specialist. Each era built on the last, blending technical skill, problem-solving, and pride in workmanship.
