As the person who enters clients’ homes to design, install, and maintain their systems, Rio works closely with homeowners to understand how they live, build technology that supports that lifestyle.
When it comes time for install, Rio & his team ensure your home looks even better than when he entered it - from foot coverings to video recording - you have full control & peace of mind.

A Fifth-Generation Electrical Legacy
Rio represents the fifth generation of electrical expertise in his family. He got his start working alongside his grandfather at Russell’s Electric in Sioux Center, gaining hands-on experience in both residential and commercial electrical work from an early age. That foundation instilled a deep respect for craftsmanship, safety, and doing the job right the first time.
He went on to earn his degree from Northwest Iowa Community College, further strengthening his technical background. Rio still works with Interstates in Sioux Center, where he helps to build out complex electrical panels in the panel shop for major corporations, experience that translates directly into the structured, dependable systems he installs in your home.

Building the Future of Smart Homes in the Midwest

Rio co-founded Duven Integration with his father, Scott, to bring thoughtfully designed, custom smart home solutions to the Midwest.
While Scott operates from the Midwest and Gulf Coast, Rio is based in the Midwest and is available to travel as needed to support projects and clients.
Together, they combine generations of electrical knowledge with modern technology, creating smart homes that are intuitive, dependable, and built to last.
